Let us pray! Thank you Lord for the blessings you have given us today, as it says in your word that your blessings are new every morning. Father use me as a vessel to deliver the message you have for us today in Jesus name, Amen.
Meaning of the Resurrection
Due to Adam’s transgression, Mankind had lost their connection with God. It was only through the death and resurrection of Christ that mankind could be saved. Now, Mankind is able to receive the salvation that Christ has to offer through confessing and believing in Him.
John 12: 44-50 (NLT)
Jesus shouted to the crowds, “If you trust me, you are trusting not only me, but also God who sent me. For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me. I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark. I will not judge those who hear me but don’t obey me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it. But all who reject me and my message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken. I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.”
Through Christ’s death and resurrection it showed how much God loved us, John 3:16 (NLT) “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
As well as fulfilling the scriptures that spoke of Christ’s resurrection Matthew 5:17-20 “Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 (NLT): For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.
1 Corinthians 15:20 (NLT): But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.
Ephesians 2:8 (NLT): God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
Blessings of the Resurrection
After Christ’s death and resurrection, regardless of us being enemies with God, He bestowed onto us the gift of salvation and with it the chance to have both a relationship with the Father and everlasting life. As you know, one receives salvation through believing and confessing Christ into your life, as the scriptures say in Romans 10:9 (NLT) If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
John 3:36 (NLT): And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.”
1 John 5:11 (NLT): And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
2 John 1:9 (NLT): Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.
