We charged through the palace, with little thought on what this will do to our futures, Earth’s Blanket started to tear, causing time to distort bringing along abnormalities occurring all around me.
Even nature itself was against my will…
I stood my ground, unwavering and paying no mind to the doubts that float about in my conscious. I would ask myself over and over again if what I am doing is the right thing, as a ran through the palace in search for the king but would always come back to the same answer.
Time will bend to my will…
We made it to the throne room, the surprise invasion had worked, the king was cornered with drops of sweat running down his face.
In just a few moments, the king was down to his knees staring at the edge of a blade, and in few seconds the king went silent.
Victory was ours…But time had not change, or so I thought.
I spent the rest of the day with Emil, we shared jokes and ate ice cream together and even got a chance to ride horses next to each other.
Night rolled by, it was only then the effects of our actions took place. People around me started to vanish, Emil told me that our actions have altered other people’s realities and not just our own throwing nature out of balance.
And then it happened…
Emil and I were alone walking on the beach, in just a short time we had grown really close to each other, we enjoyed spending time together and only wanted the moment to last.
And then we kissed….
I opened my eyes and he started to vanish, his last words were “I never wanted to exist, thanks for granting my wish”.
My heart shattered, tears streamed down my face and shortly after I found myself back in Pent Town.
Despite getting what I had wanted, i felt like I lost a lot more than when I started. My parents who in this time zone are alive, they attempted to console me numerous of times, but I could not get over the fact that I’m to blame for how things are now.
That night I noticed Earth’s Blanket was torn up even more than before, it was at this moment that I had the choice to either enter back in that time zone and reverse events or remain here carrying the weight of many who no longer have the chance to live their lives…
I took a deep breath, gripped onto the blanket and went returned to that time zone.
The king shall live.
To be continued in The King’s Bread.
