Words – poem

As a plant, you water me with your love

unknown of whether it’s water or poison, yet I drink it.

Your soothing words softly softens the burn marks that are only visible in your eyes.

Your words heal me,

sealing me up like lettuce, rice and shredded pork tightly rolled up into a burrito,

Your words heal me.
